For Desperate College Grads

Many of you are donning caps and gowns to indulge in that hard-earned, most important day of your life. It's time to graduate.

The cap and gown are obviously your only sartorial option for the big day... but what to wear after the event?

Face it, your loans are about to wallop you like a sumo wrestler jumping off of a diving board and onto your lofty dreams of finding a job. Your parents won't be able to brag about your graduation day forever.

You need to get a job.

Luckily for you, I've developed the perfect interview outfit after stumbling upon this graphic tee from Urban Outfitters (only $14.99... perfect for your ramen-eating broke ass!)

Classy, right? Well, check out how far adding a blazer will get you!

(Portfolio case by Valextra, bag and suede wedges by Michael Kors, blazer by Elizabeth and James, pants by Topshop)

I think it has the right hint of preppy-chic and desperation that will tell your potential employer that you mean business.

Please note that I am not responsible for any negative responses this look will get you during an interview. Happy job-hunting, college grads!

Hello, over there!

So I recently tuned in to Dylana Suarez's blog (clicky). And guess what! She's now a Philly resident in addition to being a stylist over at Free People. Awesome, and hello from this Leifsdottir intern!

See pics below. I love her edgy/boho style. What do you think?

Top Secret

Sooooooo have you guys heard about Topshop's latest pop-up? No? Check out the pictures below for a glimpse of their latest collab with designers like Pamela Love, Meadham Kirchoff, Ann Sofie-Back, and more. Then click here for a chance to score your own pieces from this super-limited collection!

Okay okay, so it's not THAT secret (it's the first thing you see once you log onto Topshop's site). But it is cool! How often can you get a hold of limited edition collaborative pieces from lesser-known designers as sold by a major fast-fashion retailer? I am loving the Meadham Kirchoff trinket box... what a lovely gift idea (hint hint). Happy shopping!

Been a while, huh?

Yeah yeah remember when I started blogging and expected to keep it up at a consistent pace?

I DON'T, SO DON'T JUDGE ME. Anyway.

I've had a wild year... I interned at a fashion PR firm in New York, and now I've moved onto an internship with Leifsdottir, where I design prints and play Words with Friends with my boss. All that craziness aside, I'm trying to get back to writing more so that I can take up more internet space entertain you more frequently.

So, the "LWD", little white dress, has been the juggernaut of go-to spring and summer styling this year. Now, we've all seen the LWD making its debut in the glossies and blogs for a while now... so how about we switch it up? Now, its not just about a white dress, we need the white pants, maxis, blazers, and every gleaming, pristine piece that we can shake our bleach sticks at. Ranging from chic to boho and day to night, there are so many ways to style this season's essential wardrobe non-color. Check out the pictures below from some major style inspiration. Then go buy a Tide stick, because if you're anything like me, you'll need it.

Pictures are from stockholm streetstyle, Vogue Korea (by way of fashionspot.com), and zara may lookbook.

What is YOUR summer must-have, and how will you be wearing white this season?
